I took this photo at pipeline last year on the North Shore of Hawaii. Occasionally there’s a photo that speaks to me, this is one of those… I stare at it, analyzing the natural vignette, the position of the sun, the people in the image. It is Hawaii, it is what I love about Hawaii. [...]

Nimai Wong is not only my friend but an incredible photographer that is always down to expiriment with all types of photography. His photos of models inspire and his film shots make me want to explore the old days of photography.

“… I look up & think of you & say a prayer. I pray that you are safe, I pray that you are well, And I pray that you are happy…” -By Denise M. Ruggieri Took this at a church across in New York by the Rockefeller center. I’m unsure of the name but it [...]

This isn’t my best work or a really neat photo but I just wanted to share something with all of you. There is a neat form of graffiti that is invading New York! Check out other photographers that have posted photos of the notorious robot stickman.

Standing under the stairs I looked up and saw all the footprints. I thought it was cool and snapped a photo. Tip: Look up sometimes! My friend Kyle taught me that. Also, this photo was picked by Ed Morita, pastry check extrordinare!

I’m sure this spot has been photographed a billion times but I get to be a tourist too once in a while too ok?! Tip: I captured the motion of the people by using a slower shutter speed. It’s good to have them blurred a little to give the feeling of motion and hustle. Now, [...]

Took this photo just off the Brooklyn Bridge in New York. A reminder to those fallen Americans that died in the terrible attacks on our nation.

Took this photo at the ferry station to go to Staten Island. Tip: To gain this effect reduce your shutter speed and zoom the lens while taking the photo. It may take you several tries to get it looking just right.

Dina Kaplan is the co-founder of Blip.tv and is a rad person altogether. We met at Podcamp Hawaii and she hired me to come to New York and take photos at the New York Founders Club. She’s a really cool person. I’m going to start doing this with the founders of companies, or maybe just [...]

This is an older photo of mine but I feel bad because my photoshop was broke and haven’t put anything up in a while. I just landed in Honolulu and will be going to bed. I have two back to back shoots tomorrow. Getting some dinner with a gorgeous girl then must needs sleep!
